Germany
Violess e.V. is a registered German-Syrian non-governmental organization working at the intersection of peacebuilding, human rights, and refugee support. Founded in Altenburg, Germany, Violess empowers marginalized communities through development programs, educational workshops, and political engagement initiatives.
The organization is especially active in advocacy work, including collaborations with political parties, local councils, and integration networks. With a growing presence in both Germany and Syria, Violess is committed to defending human dignity and fostering inclusive societies.
Al-Furat University
Syria
Al-Furat University is a public higher education institution founded in 2006, serving students primarily in eastern Syria, with campuses in Deir ez-Zor and other locations across the region. The university offers a broad range of academic programs through its faculties in law, engineering, education, sciences, and social sciences, and plays an important role in expanding access to higher education and professional training.
Through its partnership with Madeena Foundation, Al-Furat University collaborates on initiatives focused on academic and institutional capacity building, student and faculty development, and the use of education as a driver for long-term recovery and sustainable development.
