Madeena Foundation

Madeena Foundation is a Syrian non-governmental, non-profit, and independent development Foundation officially registered in Damascus - Syria. Through our sister organisation in Germany "Violess e.V.", we foster international partnerships that strengthen our work inside Syria.

Our mission: We are committed to promoting peacebuilding, social cohesion, and human rights. We strive to empower individuals and community to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope, while creating opportunities for learning, dialogue, and sustainable development.

Our work: We focus on vulnerable groups, particularly children, youth, and women, by providing inclusive educational, cultural, and community-based initiatives. Working inclusively to serve the community as a whole, we aim to ensure equal access to opportunities and resources.

How we make a Difference: Through capacity-building programs, cultural projects, and local partnerships, we transform challenges into opportunities. Our initiatives include youth training in dialogue and conflict resolution, cultural heritage activities that strengthen community identity, and community-based projects that enhance resilience and social trust.
